Due to the upcoming release of Inventory 2.0, below are the feature list that will be packaged along this version (2.0)


1. Dashboard
This feature provide the information about the stock count in the Inventory. User may know the stock that currently in Warning Stock Level and Ideal Stock Level. User may derive the data by filtering by outlet.

2. Outlet
By using Outlet feature, user may create outlets. Having more that one outlet enables user to perform Stock Request and differentiate stock between outlet.

3. Supplier
Keep all the Supplier information in one place. Record the Supplier information in the Stock Receive and Stock Return feature. User may have more than one Supplier and tagged the product to the Supplier.

4. Stock
Contain all the Stock Information in the Stock Feature. Configure the stock attributes such as Code, Measurement Unit, Tags, Supplier, Pricing and Variant. Set up the stock type such as Simple or Composite. User also may able to set up the ingredients or substance of the products. Differentiate the stock count for every Variants and Outlet.

5. Stock Check
Audit stock count by utilising the Stock Check Feature. Get to know current stock count in the Inventory Application and compare with the physical stock count. Record the difference and never miss any stock changes.

6. Stock Receive
Receive stock in front of your door? Use the Stock Receive to record the stock into the list. Never miss any stock activity in your daily operation. The stock receive will increase the stock count in the inventory.Calculation Sample for Stock Receiving

  • Currently there are additional 5 unit of Milo Powder at outlet A
  • During the Stock Receiving Activity, There are additional 5 unit of Milo Powder is received at outlet A
  • The quantity for Milo Powder in stock_inventory table will be updated to a new value (equal to 10 unit)
  • The stock changes for the Stock Receiving will be tracked in stock_receives and stock_receive_products
  • The stock changes will be tracked in stock_audit_trails and stock_audit_trail_details.

7. Stock Return
Got any stock to be return to Supplier? Use Stock Return feature to record return stock activity to supplier. The Stock Return will decrease the stock count in the inventory. Calculation Sample for Stock Return

  • Currently there are 10 unit of Horlick Powder at outlet B
  • During the Stock Return Activity, There are 3 unit of Horlick Powder to be returned to Supplier
  • The quantity for Horlick Powder in stock_inventory table will be updated to a new value (equal to 7 unit)
  • The stock changes for the Stock Return will be tracked in stock_returns and stock_return_products
  • The stock changes will be tracked in stock_audit_trails and stock_audit_trail_details.

8. Stock Request
The Stock Request is the a workflow from the Outlet to the Central or other Outlet. Stock Request is a feature for the Outlet to request the stock from the HQ or other Outlet. The workflow is listed into feature below
8.1 Stock Request (Action by Outlet)

The stock request is a feature for the Outlet to request the stock from the HQ or other Outlet. in the stock request feature, the Origin Outlet set theĀ 

  • origin outlet
  • requested outlet (this may be HQ or another outlet)
  • item / product
  • requested quantity
  • preferred stock transfer date

8.2 Stock Approve and Ship Stocks (Action by HQ or other Outlet)

The stock approval is a feature for the HQ (or another outlet) to approve or decline the request from outlet. HQ also may amend the amount of the quantity as requested. After the Stock Approval, the HQ will proceed to perform Stock Transfer to the outlet.

8.3 Stock Receive (Action by Outlet)
Once the HQ has approved the stock request and perform stock transfer, the stock receive is initiated. The outlet will receive a notification that a stock receive is available. The stock receive is containing the information of the stock request action (including the approved / amended requested quantity). Once the stock receive is approved, the quantity in the inventories is added with new newly received stock

9. Audit Trail
The feature is the reference point for all the Stock Transaction. This feature captures every movement of the stock and related activity to the stocks. This feature is guaranteed to provide 360 degrees of information to support daily Inventory operation.

10. Setting
Under the hood, this feature is to set the necessities of the Stock information such as Measurement Unit, Tags and many more feature to come.
